Courances Park and Castle

Courances Park and Castle

Less than an hour from Paris, discover the most beautiful example of Renaissance water garden preserved today.

Castle dating from the 17th century built in brick and stone. The 14 springs feed 17 water’s sheet, staircases of water and waterfalls: a beautiful example of a Renaissance water garden.
The Foulerie, old mill to beat on the hemp, is now the tea house which hangs over the Japanese garden (possible to catering on site). Through the season, baskets with theme are proposed to orient your walk in pursuit of springs, birds and trees. The castle and the tea house will be closed from Jura, 30th to September 7th 2013. But the park remains open to the public.
